I titled today's post the way I did because anyone who has gone through an international adoption knows exactly what I'm talking about. Last week was a frantic frenzy of excitement, anxiety, and scurrying to get papers together, signed, and shipped off in an amazingly short amount of time and an exhorbatant amount of money only to find out that a DNA test was ordered and now we just sit and WAIT..... AGAIN.....
After speaking with the orphanage director and getting that news, there has been NOTHING we need to pull together and NOTHING we can do to help(except, of course, shipping more money to cover the cost of the DNA test and Visa that we will eventually get).
It really plays tricks on your psyche... did that frenzy really happen?! are we really any closer to bringing him home?! YES! I know we are, it just doesn't FEEL like it.
So, here we are waiting for the next call that will lead to the next frantic frenzy! Are we nuts? :)

Hang in there Chris - in a blink of an eye he is going to be home! This whole hurry up and wait game will be over soon.
ugh. I can only hope that this time flies by for you. Maybe with Easter coming you will be super busy and things will happen before you know it!!! Fingers crossed you'll have good news soon!
