We found out today that we are one step closer to bringing Stevenson home! We have made another move forward in what we affectionately refer to as the "paperwork abyss". Our case had been in the Ministry of The Interior (MOI) since August 11, 2008 and today we found out we are out of that office and are now waiting for a Passport and Visa!!! Woohoo! Sounds like it would be just days for that huh?
Not in Haiti. This process has been taking about 3 months - although we have friends who've been waiting since May for their son's Passport and Visa.
Our hopes are still high though!
